Yoshitha's prison declared as high security zone

The J Ward in Welikada Prison, where Yoshitha Rajapaksa is being held has been named as a restricted area, following the recent discovery of a mobile phone from a nearby cell.

Therefore, the Ward will be restricted for outsiders and will be under the protection of two jailers throughout the day. Yoshitha Rajapaksa and the other inmates arrested over the money laundering allegations at CSN are not permitted to leave the cell area without a jailer. Five suspects including Yoshitha Rajapaksa are being held for the alleged money laundering at CSN. They were arrested on the 30th of January.
