A protest was carried out in Jaffna town today (Mar 2) by the relatives of the Tamil political prisoners.
The protest was organized by the recently released Murugaiah Gomahan, former member of the Jaffna Municipal Council and Ganesaratnam Santhagopan.
The protesters hanged slogans in their hands requested the government to release their loved ones soon.
The Good Governance was requested to take measures to free the political prisoners immediately by the participants.
