Stone mining and illegal smuggling of trees are prevalent in the Palali areas which have been released recently. People of this area further added that though they have complained to the Police regarding this, no action has been taken so far.
These kinds of incidents are taken place in Palali north and Palali east. Jack fruit trees and Mahogani trees worth several lakhs are cut and taken away like this.
Apart from that, illegal stone mining in the lands of those who are living in abroad are taken place. Taking bribes, Police allow those who do these illegal activities to escape, according to the allegation made by the people of this area.
