A woman has died and another one got severely injured in an accident met with a Military vehicle in front of the Jaffna Human Rights Commission. The severely injured woman was admitted to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.
This accident took place yesterday morning in front of the Human Rights Commission Office located at the third cross street in Jaffna.
Following this incident, a large number of civilians have gathered there. Consequently, tensed situation prevailed as a large number of police and army soldiers have been deployed there.
