The Amnesty International has alleged that the government of Sri Lanka had failed to ensure the normal life of the war affected people in the North and East, adding those who expected justice have been abandoned. The NGO accuses the government engages in making the new constitution while the oppressed are ignored. The government had promised the international community to implement the UN resolution, stated in a recent release. It also noted that the conflict affected people and the relatives of the missing persons who have been waiting for justice are about to lose their confidence over the justice they expect. It further added that the internally displaced people from Valikamam in Jaffna district are still in welfare centres.
