The UPFA MP Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena said that, two more Rajapaksas arerumored to be arrested in the near future.
Abeywardena made this claim speaking to the media, after he visited theUPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa, who was recently remanded over the alleged misplacement of Rs. 70 million.
Abeywardena pointed out that, he has nothing against the rule of law, if it is implemented in the proper manner. But, however, the police could not answer questions on the investigation into Namal Rajapaksa's alleged money laundering and he was remanded only based on the grounds that, the investigations were not complete, he added.
Several politicians including former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and several SLFP ministers visited Namal Rajapaksa in prison yesterday.
