Even though it has been seven years since the day the war ended, occupation of military is the only thing which is being the obstacle to Peace and reconciliation said Northern province Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran.
He also stated that the Government is not willing to talk about the way the military operates. He stated the above when he participated in a News Briefing in Colombo yesterday (22nd of November).
He stressed that the Tamil people have a different culture, Religion and Land and to accept the differences and let them live peacefully.
“Only if there is a federal-based solution to this problem the government can have significant influence on us. If not, we are ready to take the next step forward” he said.
