I have been waiting for my son who was taken by the military for an inquiry two decades ago promising to release him after an investigation, said a grieving mother who takes part in the protest in Kilinochchi.
The relatives of the enforced disappeared persons have been staging protest near Kanthaswami temple in Kilinochchi for 45 days demanding the government to release the truth what had happened to the disappeared.
The mother said in tears that she had been waiting for her son for the last 22 years.
