Condemning against the sexual violence on girls, children and women, seeking justice for the sexual violence committed on Vithiya, Jerusha and Seya and demanding the protection to women and girls, an attention drawn protest has been staged at Mullaitivu.
Representatives of various women's organizations, mothers and women took part in this demonstration organized by the Mullaitivu District Women's Development and Rehabilitation Union.
Highlighting the sexual violence committed even in henrecent weeks at Mullitivu, women’s organizations have handed over a meorandum to the Mullaitivu District Secretariat, demanding the awareness and affirmation on the protection to girls, children and women in the urban and rural areas.
