Thousands of Tamils in Jaffna attended the funeral of the former head of the Women’s political wing division in the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Subramaniam Sivakamy.

Subramaniam Sivakamy, better known as Col. Thamilini died battling cancer at the age of 43.
Several politicians including senior Tamil National Alliance MP Mavai Senintharajah were present at the wake of the former LTTE official.
