Power devolution can only refrain Tamils from taking arms again: Mano

If-find-a-solution-to-language-problem-can-find-a-solution-to-national-problem-Minister-Mano-720x480Minister Mano Ganesan said that, if all should live in a united country and if Tamils are supposed not to take arm again, power should be devolved.

Minister Mano made this observation, addressing as a Chief Guest in the national seminar in Batticaloa on Approaches to peaceful co-existence.
He added that, power devolution should be carried out to solve the problems of Tamils and the rights of Tamils should be protected. The major parties of Sri Lanka should clearly inform  Tamils on devolution of power without confusion. Then only they can win the hearts of Tamils.
The power devolution is not just a solution for the ethnic problem. It is a democratic act. The power sharing should be carried out to all the provinces.
Our country is not belonging to a single religion or race. This is a Pluralistic country. So, power devolution should be given equally to all provinces, he said.
