Investigate on Pillaiyan's information: Asath Sally

Central Provincial Council member Asath Sally says entire nation is currently discuss on recent statement by the former eastern province chief minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillaiyan.

Central Provincial Councilor called upon to hold immediate investigations on this issue. Addressing media briefing at Colombo Mr.Salley went on to say, Pillaiyan maintained close ties with the previous regime. Present government should hold immediate investigations on corruptions and financial allegations reported in the previous regime. Pillaiyan said that ex-president Mahinda Rajapaksa signed deal with him to murder current president and the former minister Maithiripala Sirisena. Responding to this Rohan Weliwita media spokesman of the former president noted high ranking police officer is permitted to inform media about the statement made by the suspect, Mr. Salley cannot make such statements to the media.
