A fire has broken out in the Ceylon Electricity Board Substation at Kotugoda, Ja-ela, a short while ago. According to the Ceylon Electricity Board sources, the Power went off in several areas around Negombo due to the fire. This mishap is reported after the government announced the deployment of the military for the protection of the Ceylon Electricity Board installations around the country.
